Sales Ledger Assistant

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced **Sales Ledger Assistant** to join a very busy accounting department based in Darenth.
**The role**:
Working as part of a small team within a medium sized company, the role will involve all aspects of billing and invoicing, including preparing and sending out a high volume of invoices each day, as well as resolving queries, sending customer statements, and other administrative duties as required.
- Raising sales ledger invoices with strong attention to sales and rate cards rules.
- Processing all credit notes and any amendments required to invoices.
- Liaising with line managers to resolve sales invoices queries.
- Raising of sub contractors and manual invoices.
- Providing cover for the purchase ledger team in the absence of a team member.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks.
**Skills/Experience Required**:
- Full understanding and practical knowledge of Sales Ledger function with 1 - 2 years' experience.
- Strong computer literacy, including Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic accounts knowledge.
- **Own transport required due to location.**
**Working hours and Salary**:
**- MON-FRI, 8.30am-5pm**
**Salary: 26K-27K**
**Benefits**:
- 21 days holiday per annum (plus Bank Holidays)

**Position for immediate start.**
