If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex care or if you already have complex care experience this could be the perfect job role for you

We have a new opportunity available working with our young service user within in his own home in Blackpool supporting with his complex care needs.

We specialise in delivering high-quality, personalised support that empowers our clients to lead fulfilling lives. As a Complex Care Health Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of our mission to enhance the well-being of those who require specialised attention.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a 5-year-old boy who lives with his loving family in Blackpool and requires a dedicated care team to support his complex care needs on a 1:1and 2:1 basis throughout the day and night.

He loves the interaction and engagement with his family and care team, listening to rock music and exploring his favourite toys especially his musical bells. Our young service user thrives on love and care, creating a profound connection with those around him.

Throughout the day you will provide support with his personal care needs, moving and handling, and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will engage with his play, following his interests ensuring he feels comfortable to explore, learn, and thrive.

Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, moving and handling, clinical observations and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful night’s sleep, offering reassurance and comfort when needed.

**Essential experience Required**
- 3 months care experience
- Personal care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience Required**
- Tracheostomy care
- Seizure Management
- Ventilation Management
- Experience working with children

**Shifts Available**
- Full Time & Part Time
- Days & Nights Available
- Days
- 2:00pm - 6:00pm: Monday
- Friday
- 2:00pm - 9:00pm: Saturdays
- Nights: 10:00pm
- 8:00am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £60.00 per 4-hour shift)

Weeknights: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £155.00 per 10-hour shift)

Weekends: £16.00 per hour (Approx. £112.00 per 7-hour shift)
