**Quality Control Officer**
**Job Purpose Summary**:
The Role holder will be responsible for providing support to the Technical & Quality Manager and ensuring all company quality procedures are completed to the highest level. You will be maintaining administration, tracking KPI and reporting issues, you will have the capability and mindset to complete tasks outside your core competency. As a Quality Control Officer, you must maintain a professional appearance and attitude and always be polite.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Providing daily assistance to the Technical & Quality Manager.
- Approval or rejection of all raw materials, components, in-process materials and products.
- A regular cycle of internal Site Quality reporting, ensuring data is timely and accurate, providing analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure a culture of continuous improvement to help raise factory standards.
- Supports the validation execution of new and existing equipment according to schedules and industry best practices. Where applicable, presents the findings.
- Provide support and advice to the senior management team and staff on Quality matters.
- Ensuring all daily quality procedures are completed to the highest levels.
- Ensuring all external compliances are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Monitor, maintain and develop the company’s internal quality systems.
- Manage, analyse, and report on all quality KPIs.
- Raise awareness on issues through team toolbox talks and evidence based CAPA reports to department heads/leaders.
- Ensuring all homes produced meet the minimum B.S.3632 standard.
- Monitor/analyse and report on all build book noncompliance.
- Carry out daily product inspections through a 3-tiered inspection process and accurately report on any issues identified.
- Carry out Pre-Despatch Inspections.
- Assist with departmental training and completion of training documentation.
- Ability to communicate with multiple departments.
**Requirements**:
- Full Driving Licence
- Excellent IT Skills - Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Good management/organisational skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A team player who can also work independently.
- Experienced in implementing and managing a technical framework.
- A Manufacturing background is essential.
**Salary: £12 - £13.50 depending on experience**
**Shifts: 2 week rotating shift pattern - 40 hours.**
Shift A - Mon - Thurs: 05:45 - 14:00, Fri: 06:00 - 13:00
Shift B - Mon - Thurs: 09:45 - 18:00, Fri: 06:00 - 13:00
**Salary**: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
