Starting immediately as the latest Temporary HR Administrator, you will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure that the HR department delivers an efficient and effective service on a n ongoing basis for 3-6 months.
You will be responsible for a range of pivotal tasks, and to excel in this role, you will need to be robust, tenacious, and flexible. The company currently use several systems that you'll need to accurately work your way around and suggest ways of improvingthe process moving forward.
The position is **full-time** and begins immediately on an ongoing basis. Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis.
**Temporary HR Administrator Responsibilities**
- Inputting employee details for new hires, promotions and changes in details on the HR system BambooHR and Melita in the US, on the day they occur
- Enrolling employees on benefits programmes in the UK and US, updating these records with both the providers, payroll and on the HR systems and providers systems
- Ensuring leavers are offboarded correctly, including from any benefits programmes
- Timetabling and setting up the induction process for all new hires, ensuring managers understand what is expected of them and own the employee experience
- Filing of all records of employment such as contracts, CVs, right to work, performance reviews on the HR system, creating a go to place for all employment record
- Monitoring the return of documentation in relation to performance and probationary reviews, alerting the HR leadership of delays
- Creating and amending contracts, letters, presentations and other HR documentation as advised by the HR leadership
- Handling queries on matters relating to front-line HR queries, benefits and administration, triaging queries to the appropriate HR contact as needed
- Providing timely updates to the leadership team on life events, promotions, new hires etc for the fortnightly team briefing
- Driving improvements to the HR admin processes to increase automation and eliminate risks of manual errors
- Assisting with the preparation of the UK payroll (monthly) and US (fortnightly) department by providing relevant employee information such as leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)

**Temporary HR Administrator Experience**
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good understanding of GDPR and Data Protection
- Ability to pay attention to detail and be accurate
- Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently
- Ability to organise, schedule and adapt work tasks to meet conflicting deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own workload
- Ability to be polite, confident, approachable and courteous when dealing with people on the telephone, in person at all levels and with external agencies
- Ability to develop effective and supportive relationships with colleagues, both internal and external, both in terms of social interaction and positive support with team
- Previous recruitment or HR experience desirable
- Good working knowledge of current UK employment legislation is desirable
- Experience of using HR systems useful but not essential
**The Location**
Our client is based in North Oxford (OX2). There is plenty of parking on-site, alongside good transport links.
The working hours are around 38 per week and there is a free lunch available when working on site.
