Sensory Support Worker

You will join our **amazing **Community Service team in **Llandrindod Wells, Welshpool, Powys. **The service provides **valuable support** for individuals with sensory loss to live the life they want and experience the world.

This is a **9 month** **fixed-term** role with potential to increase due to local government funding which the service has **secured successfully for the past 8 years**.

We have part time **hours available to suit up to** **20 hours per week**. The service operates **Monday to Friday** between **9am-5pm** and occasionally out of hours support may also be required.

We are offering an hourly rate from **£11.75 with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/ rises.**

**There is a lot of travel involved for this role so you will need a Full UK Driving license and your own car and be willing to travel around Powys, Mid Wales. We pay 45p per mile after 25 miles of travel.**:

- Within their home, and within the community.
- To provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
- Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.

- Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
- Their social life
