**Communication Support Worker**

**Part Time (4 days per week) - Contract**

**Pay Rate: £15-£20ph**

**The role**:
We are looking for a Communication Support worker to support a SEND student who communicates through British Sign Language (BSL).

You will be split between working in a well-established College in your area and out in the community doing activities, as part of a 15 week program the College is running.

You will need to be able to provide vital communication support for the student so that they can engage in the program to the fullest and have the most beneficial experience.

Our client is a well-established College, with multiple sites across Coventry and the surrounding areas. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

They look to break down barriers and help create positive learning experiences for each individual student. To be learner-focused is a must.

Our client pride themselves on treating all students as equals and being able to adapt their approach to suit the individual needs of each learner to ensure they reach their maximum potential.

**What you need**:

- A qualification in British Sign Language (BSL) or equivalent
- Experience in supporting SEND students
- Hold an enhanced DBS within 12 months
- Must be learner-focused
- Able to meet deadlines, and submit daily reports
- Good IT knowledge
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle is an advantage
