Audio Visual Sales Hybrid

**The Opportunity**
This is an unusual and exciting Sales role for an experienced Audio Visual Salesperson who has sold into retail as a vendor and to end users as an integrator - a hybrid role based in the North West.
Our client is a group of companies who manufacture, supply and install across the UK.
Your role will be a mix of Business Development and Account Management.
**Channel Sales to Retail**:
To develop and grow sales of our client's products to independent retailers and increase general brand awareness. To manage all current and lapsed vendor retail accounts.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Work alongside the rest of the sales team to engage existing retailers, contact lapsed retailers and to develop new business opportunities
- Work through call lists and carry out in person visits to retailers as required
- Work with marketing and help promote campaigns, offers and marketing assets to retailers
- Assist with collecting feedback from retailers which can be used to inform strategy and product / brand decisions
- Liaising with the relevant departments and customers regarding any issues with customer orders, ensuring all amendments are communicated promptly and accurately
- Identifying potential new accounts and new business opportunities and working with the sales team to convert these into clients
- Working closely with key customers to identify and address specific needs
- Completing regular price checks of competitors products
- Staying up to date with internal and external developments and suggesting new ways to increase sales
- Notifying the sales team of any changes to customer status and competitor activity
- Contributing towards the organisation of cost-effective promotional activity
- Ensuring brand consistency
- Developing a comprehensive knowledge of appropriate products and services
- Escalating all customer complaints and account queries promptly and efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction ratings
**Integrator Sales**:
**Main Responsibilities**:
As above but working with end users to install Audio Visual Solutions such as Video Walls, Digital Signage, TV and Touchscreens, to the hospitality and leisure markets such as sports stadia, hotels, pubs and clubs, holiday parks and other vertical markets lookingfor state of the art Audio Visual Technology solutions.
Based in the North West, salary is competitive doe plus excellent commission, car allowance and benefits.
**Your skills and experience**
- You will be energetic, motivated, positive, a self-starter with a desire to learn and succeed
- Have experience within the AV industry, consumer technology or wider technology arena ideally with experience of selling to retail as well as to end-users.
- A well organised and process driven person is essential
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical
- Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and Outlook
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Must have UK driving licence and feel confident driving
- There will overnight stays required and you need to be comfortable with this.
