Are you a Graduate qualified health care professional or have substantial CAMHS clinical experience, working in mental health with young people and where appropriate will be fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g. HCPC, NMC)?
Are you interested in delivering evidence based treatments with young people in a primary care setting and at the same time working within a dynamic CAMHS service here in Waltham Forest ?
NELFT’s CAMHS across Waltham Forest in partnership with commissioners is developing its provision. We are looking for new community based CAMHS workforce to join our teams across Waltham Forest. We will invest in you and train you in evidence based interventions as part of your learning and development
You will work within the service providing evidence based assessments, treatment interventions & support to young people between the ages of 16 - 25. You will identify & support those young people appropriate for transition into Adult Mental Health services. You will work with us using your skills whilst upskilling the local community in prevention and identification of Mental health needs in Young people. Clinical and safeguarding supervision will be provided from within the service.

Probationary Period
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,108 and a maximum payment of £5,177 per annum pro rata).
