Future Space is a leading Innovation Centre for entrepreneurs and growing companies in the science and technology sector in the Southwest.Managed by Oxford Innovation and based on the UWE Bristol campus, Future Space offers flexible office space, sharedand dedicated laboratories, workshops and co-working facilities designed specifically for high-tech, science-based entrepreneurs and innovators.

Oxford Innovation, which manages Future Space on behalf of UWE, is a leading operator of Business and Innovation Centres. Managing 26 Centres across the UK, we provide business support to nearly 1000 innovative and growing companies.

**About the role**

The Innovation Manager is responsible for driving collaboration between the Centre’s businesses and the University and providing pragmatic, high-quality business coaching and innovation support to businesses based at the Centre.

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and coordinate a high-quality business support programme that places Future Space at the centre of SME tech activity in the region.
- Design a programme of relevant sector, training and networking events for resident companies.
- Working with the University, design and implement new initiatives and projects which benefit resident companies.
- Work closely with UWE staff and academics to maximise the opportunities for collaborative engagement with Future Space companies and the University.
- Actively promote UWE’s innovation and enterprise agenda and build partnerships within the UEZ and across the University to deliver collaborative projects.
- Work with the University to engage students and the academic community in employability initiatives such as placements, internships, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and research projects.
