A premier independent care provider - one of the UK’s top 25 companies to work for in 2021 - is now looking for an **experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA)** to join their “Good”-rated Sevenoaks care home as a **Trainee Care Practitioner**.

The home is set within a lovely landscaped estate, and provides tailored, person-centred elderly and dementia care within a luxurious and comfortable setting. The home has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for residents and their loved ones to sit andsocialise, or take part in the wide range of stimulating activities on offer - including food and wine tastings, arts and music therapies, bowling club, yoga and exercise sessions, and more.

As a Trainee Care Practitioner, you will bring your Senior HCA experience to a new level. You will lead, motivate, and inspire more junior care team members, and work directly with the nursing team to manage residents’ medication, wound and continence care,and physiological assessments safely and effectively.

This is a **permanent, full-time** Trainee Care Practitioner role (44 hours per week) that gives you access to fantastic learning opportunities and a sector-leading employee benefits package. Days and Nights are available according to your preference.

**Person specification**:
You **_must_** have a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a care setting.

You **_must_** have an NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

You **_must_** have GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Grade 4 -9.
