**Business Development Manager**

**Calibration /Metrology**

As a **Business Development Manager**, you will proactively **increase sales** of **calibration**, **metrology** and **asset management services** through developing new prospects and growing existing clients' sales. This role is split around 70% / 30% new business versus existing business.

Our client is an established provider of calibration, repair and asset management services to aerospace and defence, pharmaceutical and medical, automotive and transport and energy sectors with a worldwide reach.

**North England / Scotland - Ideal locations -**_Manchester, Bolton, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, Blackburn, Preston, York, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees, Durham, Sunderland, Carlisle, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland,Glasgow, Edinburgh_

**OTE 41-47k, Basic salary £35-40k + Bonus + Car/Car allowance + 25 days holiday + pension + employee perks and discount platform**
- The Role_
- Manage the North England / Scotland sales region, identifying sales targets and achieving KPI's**.**:

- Call on existing and potential clients to discuss our clients' services and the advantages of using a single source provider**.**:

- Lead the tender process.
- Work with Senior Management team to set and monitor sales targets to achieve objectives.
- Participate in local, regional, national and global trade shows as required.
- Create reports and forecasts as required.
- Keep abreast with industry updates and provide competitor analysis.
- A proven background in a sales including the development of new business.
- A knowledge of the calibration / metrology industry is highly desirable, alternatively an electrical or mechanical engineering background.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- First-class presentation skills.
