**Store, Warehouse Picker**

As one of the largest Hair & Beauty wholesalers in the UK, Aston & Fincher relies on the energy and accuracy of our Pickers, to ensure a timely delivery of products.

**The Position**

We depend on the focus and strength of these picking professionals. We are currently seeking a **Store, Warehouse Picker** to add to our growing team in Birmingham, where you will pick our customers’ orders/products in accordance with our standard picking procedures, while maintaining quality standards and efficient production.

An order picker must be always on time and able to work long hours on their feet.

They are strong and capable with an ability to “pick up” on small details.

We also expect you to be “Picky” when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders.

By utilising your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you will help us pick some of the world’s favourite products for deliveries.

**Responsibilities**
- Pulls and packs product based on daily orders
- Manages daily orders, pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, quantity and quantity requirements
- Ensures that orders are accurate
- Scanning and sorting outgoing stock
- Stage/placing items correctly for checking
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
- Keeps products separated, organised and in good rotation
- Monitor’s product/packaging quality frequently
- Adheres to Health & Safety policies and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Handle all products with care and attention to detail
- Adhere to safety programs and compliance for a safe work environment
- Follow company picking procedures and standards

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as order picker and/or other store warehouse position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great attention to detail
- Thorough and punctual
- Good physical strength and stamina

**Working hours and Job Location**

The working hours for this role are 39 hours a week

Monday to Thursday 8.15am - 5.00pm, Friday 8.15am - 4.00pm

Saturday and Sunday 9.00am - 4.00pm on a rota basis, this will include a minimum of one weekend per month.
