**Description**

AVP- 2nd line Operational Risk

Incident Management: Provide oversight and challenge to identified risk incidents, including conducting deep dives, thematic reviews and lesson learnt. Identification of any themes and trends emerging from data, escalation of these to H/O as appropriate.
Review and enhance the incident management reporting procedure and process as per RCSA's: Collate RCSA risks and controls in a central library (Xactium/Saleforce) to provide a consolidated view of all risks and controls across the business.
Review and enhance the Risk and Control Self-Assessment procedure and process as per the ERMF (including alignment of methodology).
Develop the risk acceptance procedure & process.
Internal & External Audit: Log and review all open audit actions ensuring a timely closure, escalate as required. When audit actions are presented to closure, business should evidence that action has been closed.
This to be independently verified. Metrics & Reporting: Provide monthly (or as required) MI for reporting purposes. Prepare draft reporting packs for Operational Risk Committee, Executive Risk Committee and Board Risk Committee focusing on the 'so what' valueadd piece.
Challenge the team to focus on why are we presenting this to this committee, what is the purpose, what is the desired outcome.
Supporting the oversight and challenge of KRIs / metrics - as required.
Training & Development: Provide 1LoD risk champions and the business with relevant training on Xactium/Salesforce to complete incidents and RCSAs online. Design and launch/ deliver the Operational Risk Induction and continuous training programme for all staff.
Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery: Conduct periodic Alert cascades, perform gap analysis and report on results, accordingly.
**Profile**

Professional or industry qualification such as IOR, IRM or equivalent is desired but not a requirement.

Experience and Knowledge of the UK financial services and regulatory framework

Knowledge and experience of managing operational risk
