**Product Development Actuary**

**Reigate (Hybrid)**

**Role Overview**

You will support the innovation and production of customer focussed solutions for the Retail business and provide analysis to support the pricing and structure of product developments.

This is a newly created dynamic role for a qualified actuary with good new product or pricing experience who is looking for a role with progression prospects and lots of internal and external stakeholder engagement.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing analysis to support the pricing and structure of product developments, determining the appropriate level of precision and input from other internal teams at each stage of the product development process
- The development of financial models for products being developed and supporting production of financial business cases for approval
- Quantifying risks the new products present and supporting the production of papers for approval at relevant Committees.
- Producing calculation specifications, test tools, test planning and supporting testing for product developments.

**Key Skills**
- Fully qualified actuary
- Experience in pricing and/or project work relating to new product development in the life/health insurance industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issue to senior stakeholders, including non-actuaries
