Job title: Settlements & Confirmations Analyst
Location: London
Duration: 6 months initially
The Role:
The Standard Settlements Team sits within Settlement Operations and is accountable for the back end of the trade lifecycle i.e invoicing and settlement. The Settlements Operations activities are critical to support the business in achieving ambitious growthtargets while ensuring control requirements are met. Standard Settlements involves high volumes of invoice generation and processing of vanilla products which include physical OTC trades, swaps and options within contractual timelines.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be accountable for timely and accurate invoicing and settlement of EM&T Vanilla commodity transactions.
This includes:

- Settlement of vanilla physical OTC trades, swaps and options
- Accurate and timely creation and issue of invoices for all vanilla products as well as validation of invoices and payments on contractual settlement terms.
- Processing netting statements for physical and financial settlements
- Ensure funds are received and paid on time
- Ensure accurate input into the cash liquidity process of Group Treasury
**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of the markets and products
- Experience with Commodities and Settlements
- Keen to learn and to develop
- Proactive in identifying and driving improvements in processes, systems and controls to deliver continuous results, improved efficiencies and strengthen controls
- Take ownership of your work and contribute to the delivery of the team
- Comfortable taking on project work in addition to BAU and delivering on strict deadlines
- You are used to working in a high volume, process orientated environment where speed and accuracy are essential
