**Job Opportunity: Fibre Engineers**

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Enthusiastic, capable individuals who can work well in a team
- Reliable with strong organisational and timekeeping skills
- Willingness to travel, with most work currently in the North-east, North-west, and Midlands
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
- NRSWA Street Works Operative Unit 2 card
- Experience with design schematics, duct diagrams, and work instructions
- Ability to produce, update, and interpret daily work logs, job packs, apps, data recordings, and network design maps
- Proven experience with PIA infrastructure
- Comfortable working at heights and in underground networks
- Excellent communication skills and adherence to Health & Safety guidelines
- Recent DBS check (within the last 3 months)
- First Aid Training

**Experience on Openreach’s Network with the following accreditations**:

- N027 - OFN Cabling in the O/H Network
- N028 - OFN Cabling in the U/G Network
- SA001 - Overhead Safety
- SA002 - Underground Safety
- K008 - Hand Rodding in the U/G Network
- NSRWA-O1 - Signing, lighting, and guarding
- K006 - Heavy Cabling and SDMB5 in Duct (preferable)

**Responsibilities**:

- Attending sites to provide overhead and underground fibre cabling
- Installing Blown Fibre Tubing (BFT)
- Testing, rodding, and roping of underground cable routes

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
