We are looking for a committed and passionate Head of Studies to join our successful team at Wigan & Leigh College. The role will work across all College sites with an initial focus on our Pagefield campus, which specialises in Construction and Engineering.

The Head of Studies role is vital to our success with students, working across the College with Heads of Departments on the full range of student-focused activities, including designing and delivering exemplary high quality tutorials. You will also manage Student Liaison Officers and Specialist Personal Tutors across the College to support this agenda as well as closely monitoring attendance and retention with Heads of Curriculum Areas and Heads of Support teams.

- Ensure high levels of attendance, added value, retention, high grades, achievement and student satisfaction through highly collaborative work with Lecturers and Managers in regular one to ones and as a part of your daily practise?
- Support our commitment to providing the highest quality student experience, improve retention and achievement and manage high quality tutorial support for students?
- Demonstrate highly developed communication skills with College stakeholders including parents and external agencies?
- Help to create an ambitious, inclusive, creative, fun, kind and respectful College community?

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £42,338.00-£44,908.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
