To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit a Lead Cafe Assistant to join our leisure centre.
Your role will involve work within the catering team to achieve high standards of service and customer care at all times. You will ensure that all food is hygienically prepared and served in accordance with standards.
As part of this you will be leading a team to prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with our cafe menus along with managing the replenishment of displays and vending machines. You will ensure that all of the cafe assistants have completed their financial and cash handling training and are complying with company procedures and standards. We have a high standard of hygiene within our facilities and our cafe employees will lead by example ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times.

First and foremost you will hold a Level 2 award in Food Safety in Catering or equivalent.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer care skills through examples of working within a food retail operation or service led organisation.
Previous supervisory experience within similar environments is desirable.**Why Serco*
