Bartender/server

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Check in golfers for tee times, confirm bookings, and handle any related queries or payments.
- Accept phone calls and take golf bookings over the phone in a polite and efficient manner.
- Liaise with members and visitors, addressing their questions and concerns, and pass relevant information to the appropriate departments or staff.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and reception area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen and other staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining high-quality standards.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in bartending, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers, members, and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the golf club's operations.
