Housekeeper/cleaner

**Overview**

6 days a week every Thursday off

Days Fri-Mon 7am-1:30pm finish Tues & Wed 9am-1:30pm finish.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, and common areas in hotels or commercial establishments.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned to the highest standards, including changing bedding, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising.
- Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to requests from guests or management regarding additional cleaning needs or special requests.
- Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Occasionally assist in light cooking tasks as required, ensuring that kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hotel cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and clients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills related to the role.
- Drivers license required due to location

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
