**Responsibilities**
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Maintain knowledge of products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and provide recommendations.
- Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, organising merchandise, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale and handle cash responsibly.
- Support promotional activities and assist in visual merchandising to enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail or sales is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
