**Occupational Therapist**specialising in Neuro Rehab, who would like to continue part-time working in the NHS / Social Care whilst moving into independent practise for the first time or someone established in independent practise but wantsthe support of a dynamic, experienced and very supportive team is required for a well-established and highly regarded occupational therapy services company.

**Part-Time and Associate Roles Available**

**SALARY**:Competitive (Depending on experience)

**LOCATION**:Home Based visiting patients within your designated area.

**JOB TYPE**:Part-Time, Permanent Position (Associate Roles also available)

**PLEASE NOTE**: Due to the nature of the work, visiting patients within the community, you must have a full driving licence with access to a vehicle that is insured to be used for work. You will also need a current DBS

**JOB OVERVIEW**

Working as an Occupational Therapist you will initially focus on the assessment and treatment of adults, predominantly seen in their own homes. In the future there may be the opportunity to further develop your skills and undertake expert witness work.

As an Occupational Therapist you will be in a community-based role which will suit an experienced individual who would like to continue part-time working in the NHS / Social Care whilst moving into independent practise for the first time or someone establishedin independent practise but wants the support of a dynamic, experienced and very supportive team.

All staff have regular supervision from their Team Lead Occupational Therapist, appraisals and are well supported to undertake CPD activities.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

As the Occupational Therapist you will have the following skills and experience:

- Qualified Occupational Therapist, HCPC registered and RCOT Membership
- Extensive experience of working with adults with a focus on neurological conditions
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and team working skills
- Good organisational skills
- Personal resilience
- Commitment to learning and CPD
- A confident, caring and pro-active approach
- Ability to deliver client centred, occupation focussed intervention
- Ability to demonstrate efficient and effective self-management including use of time, organisation, planning and problem solving and managing stress of self and clients
- Ability to use own initiative but ask for assistance where appropriate
- Car driver with access to an insured car for work
- Insurance to practice independently (RCOT or Fish Insurance)
- Online DBS
