Asda Technology are recruiting for a Commercial Analyst to work within the Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team within the wider Technology function as we drive forward technology across all areas of the business.

The analyst will report, manage and analyse costs within Technology at ASDA.This will include reporting the health of the overall Technology project portfolio, providing guidance on budget planning and reporting, working with the Finance team to ensureTechnology has cost control and ensuring we comply with governance processes for capital and other spend.You will need to build strong relationships across the wider function.

**Your Role**
- Providing reporting and analytics to senior stakeholders on a regular basis
- Challenging spend to ensure we deliver our financial commitments
- Providing insightful analysis and reporting to enable Technology to deliver efficiently
- Working closely with the Project Management community on Project spend
- Driving efficiencies and continual improvement in processes, tools, reporting and governance associated with Technology project delivery and sharing best practice across the department
- Driving adherence to governance processes

**About You**
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Evidence of manipulating Excel and other data tools
- Ability to Forecast and work with large budgets
- Ability to engage and challenge stakeholders from across Technology at all levels
- Ability to engage stakeholders from Finance, Procurement and the People teams
- Appetite to drive change and continual improvement
