**The job itself**:
Humber Local Resilience Forum is a multi-agency partnership of public, private and voluntary sector organisations, responsible for coordinating emergencies that happen in the Humber area. We risk assess hazards that might cause an emergency or disruption and then we work together to prepare and practice emergency plans and procedures to help mitigate the impact of the risks.

We need an experienced emergency planner to take the lead in the day to day co-ordination of the local resilience forum, making sure there are good governance arrangements in place and that we comply with legislation and standards, and to manage our work programme.
