As a Maintenance Person at McDonald’s, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the restaurant runs efficiently by keeping the building, equipment, and grounds in prime condition. **Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant’s facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems,
- Carry out non-electrical repairs, including painting, varnishing, minor carpentry, and small equipment fixes.
- Maintain external areas such as landscaping, car parks, and building exterior.
- Accept, organise, and rotate stock deliveries in line with food safety standards.
- Ensure accurate records of maintenance activities are kept.
- Work with external contractors to ensure repairs are completed quickly and safely with mínimal disruption.
- Support the management team by helping to develop maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Lead small teams during maintenance tasks or projects when required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High energy, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently and productively with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Pay: From £12.26 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
