Payroll & Administration Assistant

A position has become available for a Payroll & Administration Assistant at a regional firm of Chartered Accountants due to team expansion. The position is based within the payroll team that operates a bureau service for approximately 250 of the company’s clients.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls;
- Preparing pension files and uploading to a range of pension providers;
- Producing documents including summary reports and payroll journals;
- Issuing documents for employees including payslips and P45 forms;
- Making Real Time Information submissions to HM Revenue & Customs;
- Dealing with enquiries from clients, their employees and HMRC; and
- Providing administrative support for the team.
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
