Aftersales Assistant

Axiom are currently looking for a After sales Assistant for one of our fast growing engineering clients based at one of their offices in Loughton.

We are looking for someone to hit the ground running to handle parts enquiries from UK and Irish customers for spares and to quote them directly.

Summary:

- Produce spares parts quotations for the client, to agreed standards
- Process spare parts orders in timely and efficient manner
- Answer customer parts enquiries

Essential duties and responsibilities.
- Handle parts enquiries from UK and Irish customers for spares and stages
- Quote key International customers where it has been agreed to quote them directly.
- Send all other International enquiries directly to the relative local sales company.
- Direct selling through production of both budget and firm quotations, assistance with tender submission where appropriate.
- Ensure that quotations are technically and commercially correct, whilst fulfilling customers’ requirements.
- Accurate and timely processing of new purchase orders.
- Ensure that all goods supplied are correctly invoiced in a timely manner - liaise with accounts department as appropriate.
- Work alongside other departmental employees to maximise resource, ensuring customers needs are dealt with satisfactorily and quickly.
- Pack parts for delivery if Stock Controller not available

Skills & Experience:

- The ability to produce costs and quotations to fulfil requirements.
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and understand their requirements.
- Good presentation and analytical skills are important to this position as are good contract negotiation skills
- PC Literate
