**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conducting lessons tailored to the swimmers needs
- Planning lessons for varied ages and skill levels
- Ensuring safe practices are carried out
- Instilling water confidence and water safety in the learners
- Ensuring the lessons are fun as much as they are educational
- Providing feedback to learners and parents about their achievements and goals
- Undertaking continual professional development

**Skills**
- SSTQ qualification or equivalent is required
- Strong knowledge in swimming technique and teaching practices
- Experience in swim teaching is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Patience and adaptability to work with all ability levels
- Experience working with ASN children is desirable, a willingness to learn how best to work with ASN students is required
- Safeguarding and PVG membership required
