**Job description**
Team SJA is looking to recruit a passionate, hardworking Teaching Assistant, that thrives on building great working relationships with pupils.

- Build rapport and good working relationships with children,
- Have a good standard of literacy and numeracy with a relevant qualification,
- Understanding and knowledge of barriers to a child’s progress, such as: speech and language knowledge, autism awareness, dyslexia knowledge, etc.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents, staff and outside agencies.
- Have a minimum of NVQ Level 2, or equivalent experience within a school.
- Be able to work independently with individuals on a 1 to 1 basis or small groups of children on given tasks.
- Have experience of working with children with specific needs, particularly
- Be open to training to enable you to work with intervention groups
- Be willing to support children with personal care programmes.
