We’re looking for a **Maintenance Operative** to join the Delivery Team at our **Gateshead Depot.**

**What will the role involve?**

You will be working within the maintenance team, **completing all maintenance related repairs** on **our bus shelters **in and around the **Tees Valley Area**, ensuring they are completed on time and to the service level agreements. As part of this role, you will provide a hands-on service with various tasks including painting, replacing parts, metal repairs and occasional gardening work. **You will also help our** **Posting & Cleaning Team from time-to time**, ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and keeping the bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round.

You’ll be provided with **outdoor clothing and a** **fully expensed Company Vehicle** for business use including commuting to and from the depot and to get around our different settings including busy shopping highs streets, residential areas, and rural areas. **Dedicated training and support** will be available to help get you started.

**What is required for the role?**
- Completion of the NRSWA Certificate
- A Driving Licence with no more than three points
- Some experience using cordless hand tools
- Ability to problem solve
- Able to work successfully as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, carrying out physical tasks.
- Experience in a previous maintenance role would be preferred but not essential as training will be given
