**Job Overview**
We are currently seeking a part-time Accounts Admin Assistant to join our growing accountancy practice. You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day client accountancy needs, ensuring accuracy in compliance, and providing excellent support to our clients..
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Data entry & handling Sales & Purchase invoices, receipts and incoming payments
- Basic bookkeeping activities working with Sales & Purchase ledger
- Recording & maintaining retention records
- Managing registrations with HMRC
- Liaising with clients and HMRC where required.
- Supporting the accountant with ad hoc tasks as the business grows.
**About You**:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, especially on the phone.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Previous experience in accountancy, bookkeeping, or administration is desirable but not essential (training will be provided).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
