**Smithridge Care and Support are seeking Children's Residential Support Workers.**

**Salary**: £12.82 - £13.50 per hour

Sleeps: Up to £45 (per sleep shift)

**As a Residential Support Worker, you will**
- Support young people to enable them to grow and develop in the nurturing and loving environment
- Support young people in all areas of life.
- Have knowledge of safeguarding for Young People and the policies and procedures in place
- Supporting and understanding of the young people’s behaviour and management and ensuring you understand care planning.
- Ensure all guidelines are followed with the care given to the young people.
- You will be carrying out domestic tasks to maintain the upkeep of the home and ensuring health and safety.
- Making sure you are a good role model for the young people.
- Must have excellent communication skills.

**What we are looking for**

Applicants will have experience of working with children who present behavioural challenges, possibly those with additional learning needs an, Autism or ADHD, however this is not essential.

Must be resilient to challenging behaviour and caring and considerate to the young peoples needs.

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Diploma Level 3 Children's Residential Care (preferred)
