Ecommerce Trading Executive

**We have an exciting opportunity for an Ecommerce Trading Executive to join our Head Office Team at Pavers.**? This role is offered as a** full-time** permanent opportunity, with** great potential** and would suit an ambitious person wanting to support growth in a new area of the business.** You**’ll** be based at our York Head** Office** (YO26 6QR).**

The E-commerce Trading Executive supports the delivery of strong online commercial performance. This role focuses on day-to-day site trading, product presentation, content execution, and performance analysis to help maximise conversion and revenue.

Working closely with teams across e-commerce, marketing, merchandising, and UX, the role will help ensure the website is accurate, engaging, and commercially effective.

This role would be well suited to someone with experience in ecommerce trading, online merchandising, or a digital retail environment, who is able to help drive online sales performance and support commercial goals. Ideally, you’ll bring working knowledge of GA4, experience using a CMS, and a good understanding of digital marketing channels. Strong analytical skills, intermediate Excel ability, and great attention to detail will help you thrive in this fast-paced role. You’ll report to the Head of Ecommerce and will be supported by the wider team to learn, develop, and grow.

**Snap Shot** of the** day to day** responsibilities** of our Ecommerce Trading Executive**:
**Onsite Trading & Merchandising**

- Carry out daily site checks to ensure products, pricing, categories, and promotions are correct.
- Maintain and optimise categories, product listings, filters, and onsite navigation.
- Review product performance (e.g., conversion, click-through, sell-through) and flag opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure product content, imagery, and copy meet required standards.

**Promotions & Campaigns**

- Support the setup and delivery of onsite promotions and campaigns.
- Coordinate with marketing and CRM to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
- Upload and test onsite content such as banners, assets, and promotional mechanics. ?

**Reporting & Analysis**

- Monitor key ecommerce KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and revenue.
- Produce regular trading reports with clear observations and recommended actions.
- Track competitor activity and highlight relevant insights.

**Customer Journey & UX**

- Work with UX, digital, and development teams to support testing and onsite improvements.
- Participate in UAT to ensure new features and changes function correctly.
- Identify points in the customer journey where improvements could positively impact performance.

**Product & Stock Management**

- Work with merchandising to monitor stock availability, product launches, and range changes.
- Flag risks such as low stock, overstocks, or underperforming ranges.
- Support seasonal updates and range refreshes across the website.

**Operational Tasks**

- Liaise with customer service, operations, and fulfilment to resolve trading-related issues.
- Maintain accurate product and promotional information across systems.

**What** you'll** need to be our** Ecommerce Trading Executive**:
**Experience**

- Experience in ecommerce trading, online merchandising, or a digital retail environment
- Proven ability to drive online sales performance and meet commercial targets
- Experience using ecommerce platforms preferably Shopify.
- Working knowledge of GA4
- Experience of using a CMS to manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and site content
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Merchandising, UX, IT)
