**About us**

Belong School Gloucestershire is a small independent school for students aged 12-16 with social, emotional, and mental health issues.

Using small groups and one-to-one teaching to encourage academic, social and emotional learning, we provide education for students in years 8-11 who have an Education Health and Care Plan for Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

**About you**

We require a degree of flexibility to adapt to the needs of our students, the learning environment, and a commitment to meeting targets set on EHCPS.

Experience of working in an SEMH setting would be desirable but is not essential.

**About the role**

As a Learning Coach, you will work as part of a wider team to deliver our curriculum through positive intervention, small group learning experiences and a unique approach to the educational needs of every student that includes a high degree of flexibility and opportunities for learning outside the classroom.

Your day starts when the student leaves the house; by transporting them to their learning venue for timetabled provision, you ensure that the transition is smooth and thus maximises the opportunity for engagement.
