Food Runner

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to food safety standards.

**Duties**
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that meals are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in dining areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support the team by helping with various tasks during busy periods, including assisting in food safety practices.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Basic culinary knowledge, including food preparation techniques and meal assembly.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment.
- Experience as a delivery driver is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude towards helping colleagues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
