**Senior C++ Developer**

**Location: Bromley (Hybrid working)**

**Duration: 6 Month (Contract)**

**Day Rate: £650-750 (Dependent on experience)**

**Your background**:
We are looking for a skilled software developer to deliver critical low-latency front-office pricing / trading solutions to Global Markets businesses.
- Experience in C++, preferably on Linux/UNIX.
- Deep understanding of C++ Standard Template Library (STL), Data structures and Multi-threading concepts
- Actively used design patterns and demonstrate strong understanding of software design
- Good understanding of FIX API for exchange and venue connectivity
- Experience using low-latency / high-throughput messaging platforms
- Exposure to Relational and Time series databases, SQL/Q will be advantageous
- Scripting experience will be useful (Bash, Python, Perl etc.)
- Business domain knowledge in FX and/or Rates electronic trading is desirable

**What you will do**
- Develop new features and enhancements to existing FX electronic trading platform
- Design and development high-quality software, perform peer code reviews and resolve bugs/issues promptly
- Engage stakeholders, such as Business, Quants, BA/QA and Support teams to deliver solutions end-to-end
- Solve problems independently, manage your workload and pro-actively drive tasks to completion
- Support team members and create an environment that encourages diversity of thought, ideas and inclusiveness
- Provide L3 support occasionally and when necessary
