Production Operative

Job Title**:Production Operative (Sanding) - Night Shift**

Reports to: Night Shift Team Leader

**Salary**: £17.25 per hour (inclusive of shift Allowance & Role Premium)

Role:
You will need good dexterity with diligent attention to detail working in a fast-paced environment, the role of Production Operative will involve assembling products to the quality & quantity required whilst adhering to the training & operating systems of B&W manufacturing.

Previous experience in manufacturing, polishing, sanding, or woodworking environments would be an advantage as well as having worked shifts before.

Duties & Responsibilities:
To conform to standard work & single piece flow where relevant
Be a willing & enthusiastic participant in 6S activities

To be able to work at a speed consistent with the requirements of the department

To be highly motivated to produce good quality without loss of production speed

To engage in useful work when there is an interruption in production

To work with your team leader and other support staff in administering company policies and procedures

To contribute to the team’s improvement agenda in respect to continuous improvement, problem solving, Kaizen 6S activities and engineering changes

To maintain a safe working environment

Pay starts from £17.25 per hour (including shift pay/role premium), with the ability to earn additional performance premiums.

**Able to earn additional £15.00 weekly attendance bonus**

Working hours: 35.5 hrs per week

Monday - Thursday: 23:00 - 06:00

Friday: 20:00 - 06:00
