**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a home-based Health & Safety and / or Fire Consultant, located in the Midlands and South of England, to join our expanding and successful consultancy team. The focus of this role is to undertake general health and safety and / or fire risk assessments in the commercial and residential property sector.
The work will mainly involve attending sites across the Midlands or South of England with further opportunities to extend this service provision within Europe and further afield if desired. Part of the week will be site-based and part at home working on reports and assisting clients; diaries are pre-planned in advance to support and assist work life balance.
**Competencies and Experience**
You will have:
- High level qualification and relevant experience in H&S, Environmental Health or Fire
- Experience in undertaking site based H&S / Fire Risk Assessments
- Thorough knowledge of relevant UK standards and codes
- Proven technical ability
- Good report writing, IT and communication skills
Desirable professional memberships:
- Chartered Membership of IOSH / Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health / Member of IFE
