The JG Travel Group is a leading provider of group travel offering exciting and diverse value for money tours, ranging from short breaks, classic seaside resort holidays, heritage tours, London theatre breaks/ attractions, and European holidays, including Cruises, through a number of distinct brands.

We are looking to recruit a **Social Media and Digital Content Lead** to create and implement strategies to build brand awareness and engage with our target audience on our social media platforms and through the creation of dedicated online content for our customer-facing brands, including Just Go Holidays, National Holidays, Omega Breaks and Albion Journeys and our trade brand, JG Travel Group.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain our social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google My Business and YouTube. Other platforms would be considered a bonus;
- Create engaging and innovative content for social media platforms, including written posts, images and videos in line with our social media strategy;
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across social media (and occasionally other marketing channels, such as Direct Mail and Press);
- Monitor social media analytics and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media initiatives;
- Interact and engage with followers, respond to marketing-related comments and inquiries, and act as a lead to manage online customer service inquiries and complaints with the customer services team;
- Utilise and develop on our existing social media strategy to increase our reach and engagement across our social media channels;
- Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices and provide recommendations to optimise social media presence;
- Conduct research to stay up to date with industry trends and current events to generate relevant content ideas.;
- Maintain and grow our brands using chosen and appropriate social media channels;
- Recruitment and management of partner influencers as agreed by Head of Digital;
- Work with SEO agency to create and deliver on-site content strategy.

**Key Competencies**
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms and developing content for digital channels (any experience in influencer-marketing or leveraging AI would be considered a bonus);
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling;
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite & Buffer);
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices;
- Some familiarity with SEO principles and ability to optimize content for search engines;
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate fresh content ideas;
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva);
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure brand consistency across all content.
