**Job Title: Quality Control Operative**
**Salary: £21,900 OTE**
**Working Hours: 37.5 hours, 8.30am until 5pm, 5 days out of 7 with some Saturday working required on a rota basis.**

Due to our continued growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join TMT First as a Quality Control Operative.

**The Opportunity**

This is an ideal opportunity for you if you have a good eye for detail as you will be completing diagnostic checks, cosmetic grading, and configuration of electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and buds. You will work with our team of Quality Control operatives, who are dedicated to ensuring all our devices are checked to an industry leading standard before they are dispatched to our customers.

Duties will include:

- Using industry software to complete accurate diagnostics on mobile phones and other devices.
- Checking electronic devices by eye to access the cosmetic standard and record results.
- Using industry systems to data wipe mobile phones and other devices of data.
- Accurately record all checking results within internal systems and databases using manual processes and scanning equipment.
- Produce an appropriate quantity of work whilst maintaining high standards of quality.
- Understands stock control & integrity within a production environment takes responsibility for devices in own workload.
- Work to ensure internal and external deadlines are met.
- Feedback to Team Leaders any issues or delays to work so they can be resolved and the customer’s expectation managed.
- Respects business and Customer confidentiality.
- Contribute to a safe working environment and raise health and safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station at all times
- Work in other areas of TMT First in line with Customer and Business needs.
- Consistently demonstrate that you are living the company values.

**About You**

The successful applicant must be a team player, have strong organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and be computer literate. It is also important to be able to multitask and be adaptable due to using multiple internal and external software systems. Experience in Quality Control of mobile devices and other devices would be an advantage however not a necessity.
