A reputable London Market Insurer seeks an Information Security Architect ideally with previous Insurance/ Financial Services experience to join them on contract basis.

Details include:

- Assist the Information Security Architect & SecOps Manager in devising Information Security project strategy
- Develop and manage risk remediation plans, evaluate security and privacy risks, balancing business drivers, best practices, and external drivers
- Provide technical supervision and guidance from an information security standpoint to IT and project teams
- Lead the delivery of information security work in coordination with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Services and Service Delivery Management
- Oversee penetration testing services and remediation activity
- Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment of technology and security vision from the early stages of idea development and provide security by design
- Design audits of security capabilities, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with operational standards and specifications
- Develop and maintain procedures to ensure effective collaboration between internal resources and external consultants
- Evaluation of vendor proposals, conduct process analysis, review security architectures, and recommend modifications to reduce risks and costs
- Multiple projects - Assessing/proposing technical security controls.
