Overview:
The Resources Services Directorate at Harrow Council are looking for 2 Trainers in Design and Delivery to join the HR and OD Team. The post holders will design and deliver learning and development courses, programmes and initiatives to Council staff - building the capabilities required by the Council as part of its modernisation programme.

This role is part of a coordinated delivery of change programmes across the organisation.

Specifically, this role will work collaboratively with other members of the OD and change team (principally the change managers and other trainers) to:

- design effective learning and development interventions to support the delivery of Council’s change programmes
- deliver effective learning and development interventions to individuals and teams remotely
- evaluate the effectiveness of the learning and development delivered, identifying and addressing any remedial/additional development required
- report on learning and development delivery and its impact

About you:
The successful applicant will have:

- Practical experience of learning needs analysis design and how it ti used to design effective learning interventions
- Practical experience of blended learning design
- Practical experience of blended learning delivery
- Knowledge of relevant tools and techniques including learning needs analysis, learning evaluation etc
- Highly developed IT skills that enable the use of technology to design and deliver learning to a largely remote workforce
- Strong interpersonal skills to build a high degree of credibility and presence to understand need, design and deliver learning and development interventions within the Council.
