** Quality Inspector**

**Uxbridge**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed inspections of mechanical components and assemblies using various measurement tools such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to verify product conformance.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive records.
- Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards and work with the production team to implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior inspectors as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using CMM, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
