Fleet and Insurance Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Fleet Administrator to join our dynamic team.
AB Texel UK Ltd transports agricultural bulk goods, mainly potatoes, to various factories across the UK and EU. Our Fleet department play an important part in the process of maintaining a ‘second to none’ specialist transport fleet.
We have modern equipment, and new employees receive thorough training with us. They are intensively supported and supervised by an experienced AB colleague who can teach them all aspects of our specific trade. Our new employees only begin to work independently once they have achieved our high standards and built-up sufficient experience. As only then are these employees able to call themselves true AB specialists.
As a Fleet Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support within the Fleet department, as well as working on a reactive basis, resolving any issues that may arise.
You will also be required to carry out the following (this list is not exhaustive):
- Provide fleet administrative support, which includes toll administration, parking administration.
- Maintaining databases, ensuring they are kept up to date and accurate.
- Liaising with the different departments
- Organising PMI’s with service providers
- Dealing with Insurance and liaising with provider
- Ensuring compliance is adhered to.
- Problem solve any issues that may arise.
- To undertake any other duties and deal with matters reasonably expected of this position.

Ideally you would have:
- Previous experience within an administrative role.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- IT literate
- Attention to detail
- You can work well as part of a team and/or on your own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- The ability to prioritise, multitask and manage your workload.

Hours of work: 0730 - 1700 (with an hour lunch break)
Pay: £25,282.40-£27,000.00 per year
