Contract: Permanent, Part-time (19.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year)

Grade/Salary: Grade 5, SP 16-20 (FTE: £30,295 - £33,944 / Actual: £13,962 - £15,644 per annum)

Start date: November 2024

Samuel Ward Academy are seeking to appoint a Careers Advisor. This person will provide students with independent advice and guidance regarding future pathways, work with individual students to overcome barriers to their learning, and contribute to the safeguarding and the promotion of the personal progression of our students.

- Can work independently but contribute to a strong team ethos
- Is willing to work flexibly
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting young people
- Is resilient, hard working and self-motivated
