**Area Sales Manager - Air Conditioning**

Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Air Conditioning
Industry Sector: Air Conditioning Installers, M&E Contractors, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Wholesalers, Copper, Ductwork, Fittings, Grills and Lagging

Area to be covered: South of M4/ River Thames
Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 + £5,000 Bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed hybrid or Electric car + full benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager - Air Conditioning will involve:

- Field sales position selling our clients distributed range of air conditioning systems and ancillaries
- 70% of your time selling into a/c Installers, 30% M&E Contractors
- New role for the business, promoting new product offering
- 80% of your time new business but selling into existing customers (who have bought ventilation systems)
- 20% account managing existing air conditioning projects that have commenced before field sales representation
- Targeted to achieve £800,000 revenue
- Mix of 60% commercial and 40% high end residential projects
- Order values circa £2,000-£3,000 residential and £6,000-£7,000 for commercial (anyone who needs air conditioning; hospitals, offices, hotels, public buildings etc.)
- One day a week admin from West Sussex office, Four days on the road

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Air Conditioning with:

- Must have sold air conditioning systems or refrigeration systems and ancillaries
- Minimum 2years field sales experience
- Autonomous approach
- Solutions sales background, must be able to sell whole system, not just a box shifter
- Understanding technical aspects of air conditioning (different spec of copper etc.)
- Sold into installers and/ or M&E contractors
- Diligent, trustworthy and reliable
