We have an excellent opportunity for a confident and self motivated individual who has an interest in all things IT and technology related to join this IT Team and provide professional IT SUpport for all members of staff.You will be working within an ITDepartment ensuring that the infrastruciure meets the requriements of the company.

As part of your role as IT Support technician you will:

- Manage, monitor, and resolve software and hardware related issues for all company IT equipment including but not limited to Servers, Network Devices, PCs, Laptops, Printers, Mobile Devices, Telephones, Faxes and Photocopiers.
- Build and issue PCs and laptops and other IT equipment to staff.
- Manage the entire workstation environment for the company to ensure that machines are cleaned, maintained, and always running efficiently, escalating any potential issues to the IT Management Team.
- Keeping the business server, desktop, and laptop environment up-to-date and secure. To include installing updates to firmware, drivers, Operating System, and software when required.
- Updating the IT Equipment Inventory Register in a timely and accurate manner (currently held within an Access Database)
- Install and configure new client hardware and software.
- Monitor all hardware for potential problems and report issues found along with suggested resolution.
- Manage the daily backups of all electronic data. Resolving any issues.
- Manage the daily Antivirus updates and react to any issues.
- Maintain and update the intranet site.

Skills Requried:

- Previous Windows 10 and Windows 11 support experience with a proven track record of demonstrating good communication and support of users
- Windows Microsoft Office knowledge (Office 365 desirable)
- At least 1 years’ experience of support within an IT environment or demonstrable experience either through education or personal hobby/interest
- Experience of working with servers.
- Must have the ability to diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues independently and be able to use own initiative
- Must be able to self-learn to increase own skill set
- Must be open to new tasks as and when required
