Group Financial Controller

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a market leading consumer facing services company based in Lancashire with a newly created Group Financial Controller position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has been trading very wellthrough COVID and looking to strengthen their finance team moving forward. This slightly more commercially focused Financial Controller position will be working very closely to an exceptional CFO and other senior stakeholders across the business. The rolewill be focusing on driving the numbers, managing and developing a strong finance function and driving process improvements across the board.
The role will include:
- Have full ownership of the P&L, balance sheet, monthly and annual year end numbers and help drive key projects
- Driving cash flow management, financial reporting and forecasting
- Review the internal and external reporting, production of monthly accounts and management information with your team
- Support and draft the annual internal/external audit process and statutory accounts production with the CFO and external investors
- Build relationships with the bank, the auditors external relationships
- Developing a strong finance team including a team of qualified and transactional
- Create and develop new processes, controls and make changes including improving their current finance system
- Partner senior stakeholders and the CFO in presenting and explaining financial information and performance of the business
- Ad hoc projects for the group
You will be a Fully Qualified Accountant from either a ACA, CIMA or ACCA background and ideally have worked within a fast-moving environment. You will need to have a solid technical accounting background and use to a hands-on environment whilst adding value.This will be a significant opportunity to get into an exciting role with lots of change, challenges and be a part of an exciting journey working an excellent CFO.
Salary is £75k - £85k + benefits
