This service will focus only on people with CEN who are impacted by the aging process, complex physical health, frailty and social issues related to advancing age.
The job will involve providing psychoeducation for a small number of service users with CEN who live in their own homes, in care homes or who have been admitted to the acute hospital and would benefit from an approach to improve their ability to tolerate and manage their emotions and come to terms with loss related to the aging process. A key components of this role is to work as a part of a multidisciplinary community mental health team, supporting their practice by delivering and advising on DBT based interventions and contributing to psychological team formulations. The job will also involve liaising with and advising our colleagues in Primary Care, Ipswich Hospital, Social Care and third sector partners, delivering to them in-house training.
