An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full time Band 3 Senior Therapy Assistant to join the Inpatient therapy Team at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be motivated, organised and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. The role involves;
- Supporting patients mobility and transfers
- Assisting the therapists and wider MDT with discharge planning
- Completing functional tasks delegated by the therapists to support the patient in returning to their previous level of function.
- Administrative duties
- Assisting on visits to patients homes to assess their discharge needs.

- To support patients, their families and carers to maximise their participation in the attainment of their rehabilitation goals by following treatment programmes developed and provided by the Allied Health Professionals (AHP) involved
- To work as a supervised member of the multidisciplinary team, maintaining good communication with the AHPs, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team e.g. doctors, nurses and social workers to try to achieve the Predicted Date of Discharge (PDD).
